Title: Halloween Party
We are planning to have a Halloween Party at the airport on
Sat. October, 26th. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will be
making a big pot of chili and cooking hot-dogs on the grill.
We will also be having our annual bonfire back in the woods.
We will probably start around 5:00pm and continue until whenever.
It's always been a great time so see you there.

Title: Many Thanks
Many thanks to Roxanne Schaney for decorating the FBO for Halloween.
She has graciously donated lots of candy also to satisfy everyone's
"sweet tooth". Poor Colin now has 4 cavities and I've
gained 5 lbs. She has also "chickified" the bathroom
and plans to give it a fresh coat of paint. Thanks also to Mike
Schaney for the help and the new light fixture. |

Title: Ground School
Wolf Creek will be starting a private pilot ground school on Oct.
23, 2002. If your interested please call the office to sign up.
Our own Colin Philbin will be teaching the course which will run
every Wednesday night at 7:00pm for 10 weeks. |

Title: Solos
Congrats to Justin Shetter (10-9-02), Alex Sadikov (9-24-02),
and Brian Patterson (10-7-02). These three students have soloed
on the respective dates and are well on their way to receiving
their Private Pilot Certificate. Wolf Creek would also like to
welcome Wendy Glithero to the community. Wendy is working on her
private ticket as well and will be soloing soon. Colin Philbin
is their instructor. |

Title: New instructor
Wolf Creek and the entire airport gang would like to welcome Colin
Philbin to Brookville. Colin is a recent graduate of Purdue University
and has accepted the instructors position here at WCA. Colin is
a CFI, CFII, and MEI. Please stop out, introduce yourself, and
welcome him to the community. |

Title: "Old" face
Many of you might have seen an "old" face around the
airport. I'm talking about Shaun "Squirrel" Schaney.
Although he's only 20 years old he is an accomplished pilot with
more than 1300 hrs!! Shaun instructed for us last summer and has
graciously agreed to instruct in the interim while Colin gets
up to speed (Lowell and I had to hold him down and twist his arm
real hard until he finally said yes ha ha). Shaun is an excellent
instructor and enjoys flying and instructing. Thanks to Shaun
for the extra help. |

Title: NEW PILOTS!!
Congratulations to Ron Baker. Ron received his private pilot
certificate on Sunday the 4th. Ron started flying here a couple
of months ago to finish up his rating. Matt Yoder was his instructor.
Some other new pilots on the field include Bill Welbaum, Jim
Hansen, and Jim Moore. Congrats to all!!

Title: Wright Stuff Squadron PX
The Wright Stuff Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force has set
up a PX display here at the airport office. They have a variety
of items for sale like kids toys, hats, and T-shirts. Want a set
of pilot wings to wear on your jacket? They have those, too. All
proceeds will go to help maintaining the "bamboo bomber".

Title: Matt's leaving
Our own Matt Yoder will be leaving us on the 5th of August. We
are currently looking hard for another instructor to replace him
although it won't be easy. Matt did a great job instructing and
I know a lot of his students are sad to see him leave. He will
be going back to Virginia to start school in the fall. Good luck
to Matt. |

Title: Hangar Dance
The Wright Stuff Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force will
be putting on a hangar dance at the Brookville Airpark on Saturday,
September 14, 2002. The Bamboo Bomber will be the star attraction.

Title: Getting back at it.
Sorry for no updates recently. It's been the busy time of the
year and haven't had much of a chance to update the site. I'm
putting it on my weekly schedule, so you should see more up
to date information. We have had a few students that have soloed
or have received their licenses. Give me some time and I'll
let you know who they are.

Hello, and welcome to the new web site for Wolf Creek Aviation,
Inc. Many parts of this web site are still under construction
but over time, we hope to offer a complete web site that provides
the user with information about who we are and what we do. We
also hope to provide a source of quick information about what's
currently happening at WCA through this page. Please feel free
