COMMERCIAL RATING COST

A cost breakdown of the entire course base on minimum requirements would be inaccurate due to varying skill levels, varying experience levels, and past flight time. Therefore, here are the per hour costs on the airplane and instructor. An applicant can figure his/her cost breakdown based on the number of hours they need at these prices.

Cessna 172 / $62.00 per hour
Cessna 150 / $50.00 per hour
Instruction / $25.00 per hour

We recommend the applicant to get his/her multi-engine rating in conjunction with the commercial certificate. In doing so, the applicant receives the 10 hrs. of complex time required to get a commercial certificate and will have a single and multi-engine commercial rating.

Instruction / $30.00 per hour

Pass a FAA Knowledge Test. Price- $70.00

Pass a FAA Practical Test with a FAA Designated Examiner. Price- $175.00
